I'm getting into making wood rings. This is all new to me so please forgive me if I'm not asking the right questions & what not. I'm looking for places online that I can buy different types of hardwood. Preferably small pieces that are easy to work with. Thanks for any advice.

Woodcraft and Rockler have small pieces of exotics but if you're looking for economies of scale and want better pricing you might consider buying larger stock and cutting it down yourself. There are hundreds of sources online for hardwoods and may be some locally to you but I don't see your location listed.

After you get 25 posts you might put the word out in the classified section to buy scraps from some of the other members.
