I needed something to feel productive over the holidays so I found this at a flea market for $37. Its an old cedar lined Lane chest that someone had pho finished. I took it home sanded it down and painted it back and added new hardware and cushions. It only took me an hour or two but felt good to have accomplished even a little. I have it down in the bar downstairs, but my wife is trying to steel it for the living room.

Sorry about the pics, not sure how to rotate them.

Seems to me that you will need to bolt it to the floor! My wife would have already stolen it and tried to deny having it.

Nice job. You really gave it new life.
