The other day I was looking through old tools at an antique shop in our area and came across several old heavy duty mortising chisels. They were Buck Bros and the only thing that slowed me down was that the handles were shot. They were all loose in the sockets and I didn't figure they would take much abuse. Have any of you ever rehandled a socket type chisel? Is it a difficult process?
