Pyramid vaulted ceiling

This is a vaulted ceiling I built for a client, with no trim moulding so each of the compound mitre joints would show four crisp lines. The final four 16 ft. Pieces were scribed to the wall.

Out of the thirty-two pieces of Fir, twenty-two of them were one single piece.
The room itself was off-square by 1 ½” and the ceilings were off pitch.
This just made the job a bit more challenging.

This is the link to the page on my site.
The pictures give more detail.

You did an excellent job on that ceiling!! I've never done a pyramid before, but have done inverted hips and tri-slopes. Looks great.

Very nice work. You already posted this here though.

EDIT: Perhaps I made a mistake. I thought you had already posted this here but I'm thinking now that I may have seen it on your website whilst checking out your other cool stuff. So, sorry about the above statement. All I remember is that I spent at least 20 minutes one day admiring the ceiling you did and thinking about how cool it was.

But yeah, very nice work!
