Could be a job for a pattern router and a jig. Straight cut for the main parts and maybe a chamfer for the corner tapers. It looks like that could be some delicate work to avoid chip out. On second thought the corner tapers may be better done with a sharp chisel after the main shaping has taken place. Post some pictures as you work on it, I'd love to see your solution.
