We are building birch cabinets in our bathroom. My husband read somewhere that Herman Miller had developed some sort of product/stain that prevents birch from yellowing over time.

Does anyone know about this product and where we might find it? I've googled and googled and can't find it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I don't know anything about the Herman Miller product. I could recommend this product. I would suspect it is much the same. http://www.kwickkleen.com/product_info.php/sun-block-p-505

You would also need to use a finish that was non-yellowing. If you have the means of spraying probably the easiest would be a cab-acrylic lacquer. If you are brushing the finish then I would recommend a water based polyurethane.
