I own a Porter Cable 4212, this was my first time using it. The bits I have are after market but the same size. I followed the instructions, but my dovetails were very tight, I mean tight. It took more the a couple of taps with the hammer getting the tails together. Does anyone know what I may have done wrong, or suggestions to make it smoother? Thanks

The owners manual details how to fix too tight of dovetails...May want to check that.
THROUGH DOVETAIL TROUBLESHOOTING
For joints that are too loose, move the template toward you slightly.

Do you think this would be don on the Dovetail and Pin?
