My Dad's 70th birthday is today. I wanted to get him a bench drill press and I have around a $200 budget. He does light woodworking as a hobby. I would really appreciate any recommendations you could give me today.

I saw the Ryobi 10 in. Drill Press has some positive recommendations.

Thank you for your help!

drill press for Dad

Hi!
It's no secret on this forum that we kinda like old Craftsman and new Grizzly drill presses.
Visit Shop Dad's Grizzly site (above) and check out their G7945 tilt head bench top press. Yes, it's $75 over budget (less shipping), but he'll probably love the tilt head feature, 'cause it allows for so many other uses down the line !
We own one, and have found it to be a "smooth operator", plus (no one's perfect), but Grizzly Customer Support is one of the best in the business ;)!
Wish Dad a Happy Birthday from us !
