Ok. Hello all, my name is chris and thank you for having me! I live in Houston tx and I'm beginning to work with wood in spare time. I have a north American arms 22lr. As I stated before its a derringer and a mini revolver. I have outlines but I'm using a knife and sand paper

Make a cardboard pattern with a razor blade which fits the inside of the frame. Next, trace that on an oversize piece of wood and carve to fit. With that in place, turn the gun over and trace the outline of the outside of the frame. Carve that. There should be just enough wood to sand it back to reveal the edge of the frame. The second side should be the mirror image of the first side for patterns.
