Beautiful! Art Deco influenced? Where did you get the training to make that piece? It doesn't look like the kind of thing that guys interested in woodworking buy some tools at Sears and make in their garage shop.

Nice, very nice, from what I can see, the inlays are perfect. How did you cut the 1/4 circles, did you use a stamp cutter? Love to see how you do such nice inlays. PICTURES would do, hehehe.

Educate dummies like me, please.

That's a nice piece of artwork and craftsmanship but the wood and the finish takes center stage. Good job all around.

What are the dimensions?

Oh, did you inhale when you smoked the eucalyptus? Ha!

Beautiful table Yan,

Just finished reading your story and it sounds like your grand father and mine must have had some long lost connection. Both were workaholics, both taught by letting us make our own mistakes, and both died with a stock pile of cherry.

Today I wish I had just one board of that stuff at my "shop". Grandda died while I was in Nam and by the time I got home my Uncle had sold everything and stuck Grandmam in a old ladies home. :censored: :furious:
