I want to paint some plywood but in my first try I noticed the grain was raising. Not too surprising as this is a water base paint. I'm thinking I will need a sealer. Will any wood sealer work or do I need to look for a special type?
There is a sealer called Furzite. Works good. If I were you I would put a water based sealer and let it raise the grain and lightly sand then the grain will never raise again and your finish will be much nicer when your finished. No short cuts to finishing Mike. Mitch
