Yesterday I bought a few tools, including a nice Jet table saw for and the DEWALT DW735 planer, and the only remaining thing I need at this time is a bandsaw for resawing up to 7" or 8" stock on occasion. Previously I use a Grizzly (in my former neighbor's shop). Anyway, I found this older Jet locally for $350. Thoughts?

Is this desire for a bandsaw a need purchase or a want purchase? If you have the ability to spend as much as $600 on one then I would say be patient and look around some more. In my experience, researching a purchase has always paid off in higher dividends then impulse buying.
