Sewing machine had been left out in the weather for a while and the cabinet and machine were beyond restoring. I did some research and the machine wasn't a model that had any value so in to the garbage it went. My first idea was to make a treadle powered scroll saw as I have an old Shop Smith one that has no power head. Canned that idea. So I came up with this. The sander is now 5 inches lower than it was on the workbench which make it easier for my wife to use it and I freed up some room on the bench.
