This is the end result of the oak veneer vanity for which TexasTimbers and others offered advice and inspiration. Thank you all very much. The hardware is brushed nickel and looks very classy. The cultured marble top was redone in a polymer granite-look-alike that we are very pleased with.
There is a company in the San Antonio area that did the refinishing on the counter and on the fiberglass tub. They sprayed some kind of polymer in different colors to build up the finished product. It does not have a smooth finish, instead it has a shiny texture. We like that aspect of the result. It seems to hide water spots better. This was just one part of the project but TexasTimbers and others on this site gave me good ideas and advice.
