I have a solid oak table that had been left in storage but now back indoors , the ends have expanded , how can i rectify this please ?

Not sure if the ends have expanded, more likely the wood has "moved" as we refer to dimension changes due to moisture change.

Pictures will help others to advise. The forum has a thread on how to post pictures. Note the file size constraints. You may need to resize the pictures.

Show the table top and especially the method of attaching the table top to the apron.

Be aware, it may not be possible to fix this without taking apart, as in cutting apart and re-gluing.

I would leave the table indoors for a couple of months before doing anything with it. The top has swolen up from moisture in the air and it needs to shrink back to what it was. I believe you will eventually have to replace the breadboard ends.
