I sanded my new coffee table down and it was super smooth. I stained it with two coats and the next day applied a tung oil. Now that ive waited 24 hours i am about to put another coat of tung oil on but its not super smooth anymore, some spots worse than others. Anybody know how i can get it back to smooth without scracthes before i recoat? Thanks

What/which Tung Oil did you use?

Miniwax tung oil finish
That's not a pure Tung oil, or have any Tung oil in it. It's a stand alone varnish mix, made up with BLO (boiled linseed oil) or Soya oil, varnish resins and mineral spirits.

Once cured (dry), you can sand smooth with 320x, and apply another coat.
