I am looking to get a new router and a router lift and then mount them to my table saw. I was wondering if it is worth getting the big PC 7518 with 3.25 hp or is that TOO much router and a waste of money. I have two other routers how hand work, but they are old and may die soon. Any suggestions?

This is also my first time on the site and my first post.

ABSOLUTELY!
Worth every penny. I've owned one with a Jessem lift for 6 years. Bullet proof and precise.

PC 7518 Jessem Mast R Lift

Great combination! Smooth lift and accurate. Powerful multispeed router will handle any routing task. Mounting them in a tablesaw table...not so sure. Fences get in the way, router bits have to be lowered, losing you height setting for the moment. My choice with a Bench Dog cast iron table extension was NOT to attach it to the tablesaw. Made a welded stand for it, added locking casters and I love it. bill
PS. Is that CyCo or psycho sawdust maker?
