Greetings all!

I've just registered here on the forum and wanted to introduce myself briefly.

I am relatively new to the art of woodworking and thus do not know all the various techniques, tools, or theories behind much of the craft, but that hasn't stopped my wife from requesting that go full tilt into making new furniture for the house.

I've learned some things along the way, hand cutting dovetails for instance, but know that there is still a ton of information to absorb.

I'll try not to be to awfully annoying when posting and I'll happily share pics of any projects i manage not to kill myself completing.

On a side note, I am a formally trained home theater installer, so any questions you may have regarding low voltage work in a home I will be happy to answer.

Thanks!

Let me also state that I'm ambitious but cheap. I seriously consider any project do-able until I've satisfied myself by proving that I can't do it. I will try to make things do more than they were intended to, sometimes to great effect, sometimes with great failure. Its fun for me to try, even though my wife hates it.

Welcome!
I find that wives are good motivators--whether they mean to or not.
Don't misread that--I only have one & that's plenty.
