I figured it was just good manners to post first to the introductions forum.

I'm a novice who is about to take the step into making my first item for a living space, so advice is why I came here.

I've got a nice Ridgid table saw and mitre saw, oscillating sander, pneumatic brad nailer, and an assortment of other hand and power tools. Wish me luck!

Welcome Chowdah - almost sounds like your from the Cape. Once you figure on what your going to build, snoop around the site and probably find an example of what you want to make. Don't be afraid to ask questions... complicated ones are best understood with pictures.
