Hello all,
After reading the rant page I guess I better do this.

Although he is good at what he does he didn't exactly appreciate being questioned on why he did things the way he did, or what he was doing. Therefore I have some holes in my woodworking arsenal. Since I plan to take retirement at 15 years I plan on making a living with woodworking from my small shop. The experience of some of you guys that have been doing this a while will be able to fill some of these holes as well as help guide me in the right direction on my quest to be as good as my father is.

Welcome. It's a shame that your father won't share his methods with you. There's lots of great people on here who are more than happy to instruct others. Hope you find what you need.
