Just finished a fruit bowl for someone in my church. The bowl is 12" elm, the apples are padauk and black locust, the pears are mulberry and the stems are walnut and black wood. Let me know what you think!

Hopefully I'll get a few more commissions from this, they seem to be really popular around here!

Thanks guys! Sorry no pics of just the bowl, it's already sold, but it was about 4 inches high by 12 inches wide. I got another order for a bowl made of all local woods!

Excellent project!! I may try to make one of those in the future. For irony, have you thought of making the pairs from apple tree and vise-versa?
