I have been in construction most of my life. I was an electrician for 5 years, did framing/repair jobs for a few years, remodeled homes etc. I have been a lurker of this site for quite some time now and have learned a lot of good helpful info already.

I really want to get into wood working as it seems like a very relaxing but time consuming hobby. I am always looking what to build, design, make next. So I think this would be a useful hobby to occupy my time along with helping me make useful things around the house.

I am in the process of making a built in bookcase in my kitchen right now and figured I would sign up because there is lots to learn and hopefully the people here could help me along the way.

Look forward to learning and applying as much as possible.

Welcome to the forum.

Woodworking is relaxing. And can be time consuming.
