I think it's about 20x16 I don't know never measured. Just glued up two 8/4 pieces of ash an started to shape.

Wow, 20x16, that is bigger than I would have imagined - must look really cool hanging on the wall! Since I am bending your ear, I'll ask a couple more questions:
- Did you have real fruit pieces present as models, as you were carving?
- If so, did you use calipers to keep the scale?

I really like how the apple stem gets larger further away from the body of the apple. It adds a touch of surrealism to an otherwise very realistic looking apple.

No picture or model only from memory. I made it start to finish in 3 hours.

Cool and pretty! Look like the real thing. Like the orientation of the grains especially on the apple. Great colors and finish including the frame. Excellent job!
