Hi all.

I have a old house built back in the 40's. Some of the trim along the roof is rotting and I need a core box or, preferably, a cove bit with a radius of 1 1/4 inch to make replacement trim.. The largest I've been able to find is 1 inch.

Anyone know if a router bit supplier that might have one this large, or some other way I could duplicate? I only need a few feet. Would it be less expensive to have someone else make it for me?

Thanks,

Johnny..

The one inch might work but it will take two passes to get the one and a quarter width. I don't think it would be that noticable but you won't know til you try it.

Thanks Big Dave. MICS has a 2" diameter core box bit for $29.00. That's cheep enough to give it a try.
