Hello, I'm in need of some professional or semi professional pictures taken of some items I have made that are too big for my current picture taking capabilities. I just don't have good enough lighting or a back drop big enough to get good photos.

Anyone in the Detroit area that can assist?

I will bet thatif you look in the phone book for PHOTOGRAPHERS you will find some willing to do your project.

I bought a soft box (large white box with spring edges and poly "walls"), 2 big multi-lamp lights on tripods and several background colors on craigslist...for $75.

I've seen several sets like mine in the meantime...I can take my own photos now, for less than an hour with a photographer. Just something to think about.

Use the links woodnthings sent to learn tips/tricks...and, these days, if you use a bright blue or green tarp as a background, it's pretty easy to change the background to just about anything you want ("green-screen" technology)!

I'm too far away to be able to help, other than with ideas and info...
