Got an air compressor? A shot of air might dislodge it.
If it's friction polish, try a dry towl. The heat from the friction might reflow the polish - this happened to me with the Hut PPP. I had to heat up the whole piece because it had globbed up in the grain. Be careful not to burn the wood though.
Otherwise, sand it down or pick it out with a dental pick, I guess.
