Hi, new poster and beginner woodworker looking for advice!
I have a wood library/court chair where the back legs have snapped inside in the joint. From what I've read online I believe it the tenon has snapped inside the joint??
I've attached pictures of the snapped tenon stuck inside the joint, a picture of an undamaged joint, and a picture of a tenon that has been disconnected from the joint (this one is a spindle connecting the back and front legs).
I plan on drilling and removing the broken end that stuck inside the joint, but how do I add a new thread on the end of the leg to insert back into the joint??
Thanks for any and all help!
John
