I recently purchased a Delta Rockwell Planer 22-401. It was working great until the belt that drives the cutterhead broke. It is part 22-424, Cutterhead Drive Belt, 7M Polyflex. 66.9 inches OC. The belt is 0.26 inches wide at the top, and 0.08 inches at the bottom where it meets the pulley, And has a height of about 0.19 inches.

I can't find the part online. Any thoughts?

I can find 70" v-belts, so I am thinking of replacing the pulleys with 1/2 inch pulleys.

SKU: 7M1700
Gates 7M1700 Polyflex Light Duty V-Belt 8903-1700
However, Gates is at least 3 months behind in resupply to its distributors.

I just found a Bando 7M1700 belt that should work. Should cost about $35 plus shipping.

I think you can order direct from Gates. I think I've done that in the distant past. Either that or it was a Gates belt that I order through another supplier.

I just want to confirm that the Bando 7M1700 belt worked as a replacement for the Cutterhead Drive Belt on a Delta 22-401 Planer. Getting the new belt on required taking off existing sprockets and belts. It was pretty complicated, but it worked.
