His is one Of my first woodworking projects. It is a schtool (a shelf and a footstool). I made it out of pine and oak with a lot if screws. Since I am somewhat of an ameteur this project took me 3 hours to complete but as one of my first projects, I'm quite proud of it.

Good start! Confidence is a major ingredient for this hobby. Try some simple yet elegant projects with cut plans. This will feed the "beast" we all know as woodworking!
