First glue up attempt. Face gluing 2 pieces of oak that are about 5/8th thick.

Lots of squeeze out on all sides.

This will be cut down and will make one of the two rails for my cross cut sled.

Thoughts?

Nice clamps.....I thought that if you glue up two pieces of wood like that you have a chance of them bending eventually. If one board is affected by temp and/or humidity more than the other it puts stress on the other one.

Gluing two pieces together will make it more stable than a single piece of the same dimension. :smile:

Thanks Tom!

BC, I wasn't really trying to line it up since its oversized in all aspects and will need to be milled down. But I think end to end it's pretty close.
Good Job then :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
