My crosscut sled

Nothing original here just wanted to display it =)



3/4 play on the base, purple heart runners, oak fences.

Used the 5 cut method to square the back fence, got it down to .003 over 22".

Very nice. I'm sure it will become one of your most used jigs. I know mine is.

Not Done

Your not done with the sled good so far but add the guard for the blade on the back side you will be glad that you took the time to finish it. .

I'm not sure what you are talking about. Can you give me a link to an example?

Nice sled, but I do think a guard at the back would be good. It's all too easy to have your hand right where the blade come though the back fence at the end of a cut.
