This one looks more like a hollow form I think
I was afraid to thin the inside to much as it might crack and come apart
It's about 3/8" thick and varies some but I'm still proud of it
Eastern red cedar with a lot of coats of ***
What do you think about it

Did you turn that with the craftsman12" lathe you have in one of your pics?

No I sold it a while back
I now have the Delta 46-460

I know you both can do that good or better
actually i tried something on the top half
I used my micro mesh and wet sanded but that didnt go like i hoped but i did use extra fine steel wool between every coat
I am happy with how it turned out:yes::yes:
