I want to practice on my Incra and thought I'd make some basic boxes to house an inwall rectangle speaker (until I get the time to fish and crawl in the attic :thumbdown: )
My question: If the box is to be say 5"x7" and I want to make 1/4" box joints, do I add 1/4" to the initial cut lengths of the sides? In my mind if I box jointed the 5x7 it would cut the inside area down the depth of the bit or joint right?
