I've been a casual woodworker for a long time but projects have been far and few between. My passion is Radio Control Model airplanes. I do build those and have about a dozen on hand with a couple scale models in the works.

A friend of mine commissioned me to build some seats (out of magahany) for three of the boats he owns. I purchased a old Craftsman jointer/plainer to add to my 45 years old Craftsman table saw. This made that project easier.

So I think I may step things up a notch. A better fence for the table saw and some more tools like clamps and such. I look forward to conversing and learning from those that precede me!

That Craftsman is either a jointer or a planer, in my opinion. Craftsman never made a combination machine jointer/planer as far as I know after 50 years of having that brand. They did sell a Foley Belsaw 12" thickness planer model 903, maybe 910 ...... I can't recall without going out to the shop and looking.
It's like one, and just as loud!
