So I stopped by a new cabinet shop the other day to get a table top sanded that I was working on....and the guy has a 36 inch planer!!!! Which in its self is pretty awesome.....what made it really cool...is it had rubber feed rollers.....

Now maybe i'm getting excited over nothing......but that was pretty awesome in my book.

Sadly the planer wouldn't have fit in my shop....it was close to the size of a mini cooper.....:laughing:

I had a chance earlier this year to buy one for less than 2k. I was getting pretty seriously interested in buying it until I got to doing research on it and found out it weighed 9000 pounds. It would have cost me far more than the 2k to get it moved to my shop and I doubt if I could ever supply enough power for it with a phase converter.

I had left my phone I'm my truck, or I'd have snapped a few pictures.
