I use a shop vac with a small dust separator in a cart. The dust separator is a poor design and cheaply made. It fails to capture or separate anything, from large chips to fine dust. I don't expect perfection, but this dust separator does not work. I bought it at Woodcraft, and they discontinued it years ago. It sucks.
I need a low profile dust separator so the cart can store under the table saw. I found two. One is Oneida's Dust Deputy "Low Pro" model (sold at Lowes), the other is Dustopper Pro (sold at Home Depot):

https://www.dustopper.com
-> Which would you choose, and why? The prices are the same - around $60.
-> Do you own and use one? If so, has it worked out for you? What did you learn?
