Buddy gave me a cherry anwar, which I'm using to make a tool cabinet out of. While I was waiting for him there was a huge trash bin with interesting red grained wood hanging out, and this is what I found:

It is an entire box of hardwood floor. I ripped it thru the table saw and cut off the tongue and grooves. Looks really nice. 3/4 in thick and in great shape.

Ill start by making a mallet, and go from there.

A nice haul. Looks like it's stained and finished.
