Hello all, just joined today. I am looking for some input on a track clamping system. I am going to build a workbench 4x8 and id like to be able in integrate a track system to clamp down wood when i do projects. I see so many out there and some are pretty salty. Just wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions. Thanks

Other then the suggested "T" track I have not seen anything else. You obviously have seen a system that is "pretty salty." I assume you mean expensive. Just what system have you seen?

I have two of the Kreg clamp tracks bolted into my work bench. I have got a lot of use out of them. But then again, I do quiet a bit of pocket screw joinery.

The only drawback I see is the track can be kinda hard to install because you have to drill holes through the top, then wrestle the track with the bolts dangling down. Each one has to be hand fitted into the holes. It took a while, but I finally got em all in the holes.

Hope this helps.
Mike
