Hey Everyone, new here and while it is not near on par with some of what I have seen already here is my latest little project. Wife wanted a headboard for our new house. It still needs to be mounted to the bed frame and the lamp cables will need to be fastened down but I think it turned out well.

Nice work even tho im not a fan of the lights and the stain i give you props. As long as the wife is happy thats all it matters... :thumbsup:

Very true Medevack, she seemed thrilled enough and thanks for the compliment. I also would have rather not needed the lights however the space constraints don't allow for large enough nightstands for many alternatives.

Are you putting something clear over the stain?

I was going to leave it without the clear, we have some other furniture in the room that is rather muted. I wrestled with it but this seemed to look better. I can always add later.

Hey, that is nice. Are you going to build a footboard to go with it?

At this point probably not but I wouldn't be against it in the future. Will have to see what it looks like after assembly.
