This is my first build thread and my biggest project to date. Working on a table at the request of my wife. 6/4 maple and purple heart. I've done all the jointing by hand and will flatten it by hand. Probably gonna need a whole weekend to flatten I imagine.

The purple heart has been a beast to work. Anyone else experience that? You can see how badly it burned on the table saw. When I jointed it, I only took 10-15 passes before I had to resharpen.

Also, I've discovered that when you use the triangle marking system for this many sub-assemeblies you end up looking like a crazy person.
