This is my take on the classic Khun-Phaen puzzle.

Very nice! I love simple-looking puzzles that turn out to be more difficult to solve than you'd expect. This one looks like a good use of some leftover scraps of assorted hardwoods.

Thanks. Yes, this puzzle is definitely harder than it looks. I think it takes about 80 steps to solve! I used scrap hardwood for the 1/2" blocks.

I plan to give puzzles away for Christmas this year. A made a few others that are pretty interesting as well - see my previous postings.
