I have been working on some keepsake boxes for all I the grandmas in the family. The one pictured is Brazilian cherry and birch. The others are mahogany and birch.

First time making finger joints, but after working in my jig, finally fit them right:

They look great! The finger joints look perfect!

What are you showing us in the fifth picture?
Is the trim around the bottom glued in place?

Yea it's Brazilian cherry hardwood flooring, it chips easy, so I taped it with medical tape. Works great, better than painters tape.
