I'm looking for a table saw jig for cutting a decent/good miter on molding, particularly the taller stuff...like shoe molding.

I have had poor results just cutting a miter on the table saw and need to find a more successful approach for molding around the base of a bookcase I'm making. Blue

Frustrating as the devil.

Can you post a few photos of what you're doing and how you're doing it??
Mistakes and all are fine but it would give everybody a better idea of what you're trying to achieve.

Nuthin like "tall shoemold".

Not joking....give me a 10 inch base and a 1 1/4" x 1/2" (height/thickness) shoe and stick a fork in(it's done).

I'm still using my G-dad and dad's old hand mitre bxs........although me and a contractor bud took a big pce of 5" crown into the machineshop the other day.I won the bet easily on whether our big metal cutting horiz. bandsaw could cut with less tearout than his makita rail bx.Beat him on capacity as well.
