Tremendous lathe, I have had mine for about two months. That said, I did some modifications...see pics, the walnut knobs are a good addition, as well as the additional knob on the end of the spindle; makes turning it by hand very easy, the aluminum addition on the spindle lock slides up to lock it in so you have both hands free (don't forget to unlock it before turning it on), and who couldn't use a little more weight? ken
Forgot the tool holder, keeps everything where you need it.

I have a nice piece of Maple burl that I will be turning in to a bowl.
