I have a chance to pick up a Jet 1100 cfm (1 1/2hp) for $300.
The unit is about 8 to 10 years old.
I don't know anything else about it....I also don't know what to ask about it.
He was asking $400. but I offered him $300. and he said OK. I told him I'd let him know tomorrow by noontime.

What do you think???

I would keep looking. I found a 3 hp on Craig's List for $180. You can buy a brand new 2hp grizzly for $325!! Let him know that a new one with 1/2 more horses goes for that. Otherwise I would let it go.

Dick, if it's that old it may have the 30 micron bags, which are just about useless for containing dust. If true, replacement 1 micron would be well over $100, making that a much less attractive unit. I think I'd pass at that price.

That's what i just picked up a week or so ago and i like it.
