I bought these plans 7 years ago but lost the nerve to make the project, I didn't have the correct tools to build it and wasn't really confident in my carpentry skills. Now I have everything needed and I think it's time to finally tackle this one. I used to watch this episode over and over, it's still my favorite project of his.

However, the bottom trim makes it look like it may sit on top of another chest, like a hutch...?

Its a floor molding, its on a rolling platform so he could show you details on the back side.
