I haven't been on the forum much during the past year,,,,,,, I guess I took a little break from sawdust. But I didn't give it up. I just finished a little cabinet for repeat customer. Fortunately, she's very patient. The proportions look a little strange because the file drawers are extra wide for "legal-size" hanging file folders. It's the customer's basic design, I just had to figure the dimensions and make it all work. It's alder with General Finishes gel stain and several coats of poly.

BEAUTIFUL !!!!

Those proportions are my style. In my opinion having this side match that side is real boring. I don't even like to match paint.

That's no little cabinet, that's a great looking one. Beautiful wood and finish. Like the design, well crafted drawers and the added magazine rack. I'm sure the customer was satisfied. Great job!
