Hi everyone! I'm 50 something and have been making sawdust since i was tall enough to hold the other end of a board for my Dad. I find the creative process great fun. A couple of years ago I finally got a nice BIG cabinet saw from grizzly ,What a joy. Occasionally I sell my work as part of my remodeling work,Never seem to charge enough,so it's only for special customers. I usually buy wood from small mills,cherry and oak for stock and oddball stuff for myself. (I hope to see darens place some day ,seems to be a wood lover) Well ,got to go . Thanks,MIKE

Mike;
Hello from West Michigan.
I too am 50 something... & have been dabbling in woodworking since I was helping my Dad as a kid also. My Dad was a cabinet maker by trade, but went to back to school & became an electrical engineer when I was 5 yrs old, but he always loved woodworking.
I don't consider myself much of an expert with any aspect of woodworking, but now that my father has given me all his tools, I am wanting to learn the skills I hear so much about here.
Enjoy that saw & looking forward to hearing more from you.
Ron
