I'd tuned my bandsaw and had cut a large mesquite blank, so I decided to give it a go. It had some punky areas along the edge( the dark in 2 places) that I strengthened. It turned great!
The bowl is 13.75 x 5 --- a big'un.
Think I'll call it a centerpiece bowl.
Most likely will be an auction item for a local foundation.

Nope, not a crack-- sure looks it tho. Finish is blo/shellac/DNA
