I recently completed an extremely challenging project (for me). There were a number of different posts to this forum during the process.

The before after pictures below show it all. The friend / customer is delighted and so am I.

I applied Minwax Wood conditioner followed by TransTint Mission Brown dye diluted 40:1 followed by Minwax Golden Oak.

But there was lots of testing before I go this final stage.
